Early 1900's Churchgate Station level Crossing, Bombay

 

This is the level Crossing which existed next to the Churchgate Railway Station. This picture postcard is from the early 1900's when Bombay was still a small town and the railway station at Churchgate was very small compared to what we see today.

St. Mary's School, Mazgaon

 


This school was started in 1864 at Mazagaon by the Jesuits. This is one of the oldest schools in the area. A special Postal Cover was also released in 2013 by the Post Master General in 2013 to commemorate 150 years.
